Caveman Cup #3

$140.00

This series is based around two major elements. First being the cup itself, a useful item that nearly everyone can appreciate and also has a long storied relationship with glass. The second element visible in these cups are the handcrafted nature of them. Instead of using molds for a perfect shape or measured precise decoration I decided to embrace the hand spun aspect and texture them as such. Using abstract lines I tried to draw as though I was a caveman, no art school or color theory, just simple lines that felt good in the moment. I also encouraged each cup to get a little out of center resulting in a much more interesting shape that functions just the same as an asymmetrical cup but I hope reinforces for the user the cups handspun origins.

This cup is number 3 in my Caveman Cup series, clear on clear borosilicate glass, holds 14oz with room to spare. The texturing and slight oval shape make it very comfortable to hold.

Comes signed and dated with a COA and sticker pack.

I believe the human consciousness connects us all, and the actions we take in this life echo through each other whether we want them to or not. With that in mind I have chosen to devote my life to creating visual art in the hopes it makes a positive impact on the world around us. If each of my pieces can spark a conversation, or inspire someone to make a change, or even brings out a single smile it was all worth while. While I hope my art lives on long after I’m gone it’s not about being remembered, it’s about continuing to encourage the positive aspects of the human experience that I feel are most important.
